Various Federal, State and regional incentive packages are offered to producers shooting in Australia.
The NSW Film & Television Office assesses applications on a case-by-case basis.
Assistance is available to Australian productions wishing to shoot in regional NSW through the NSW FTO’s Regional Filming Fund.

Film Broken Hill offers location scouting assistance and liaison services at no charge* to producers of both long form and television commercials. FBH does not provide financial assistance, subsidies or funding
Australia also has official co-production treaties and Memoranda of Understanding with other countries. Further information is available from Australian Film and Television. www.afc.gov.au
About the Far West of New South Whales
The Far Western Region covers 147,142 square km (56,810 square miles) more than 18% of the area of NSW. We have a population of 23,000 – 21,000 reside in Broken Hill
The region binds Broken Hill City Council and the Central Darling Shire and encompasses most of the unincorporated areas of NSW.
